Introduction
Tamor River Rafting & Trekking is one of Nepal’s most thrilling multi-adventure expeditions, combining four days of high-altitude trekking with six days of world-class whitewater rafting. Starting with a trek along a 3,000m ridge through rhododendron forests and remote villages, you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of Everest, Makalu, and Kanchenjunga before descending into the lush Tamor Valley.
Once on the river, you’ll experience 131 km of continuous rapids, with more than 120 Class IV–V whitewater sections—making the Tamor one of the most exciting rafting rivers in Nepal. Evenings are spent camping on pristine river beaches, enjoying freshly prepared meals, and stargazing in the tranquility of Eastern Nepal.
If you are seeking an off-the-beaten-path adventure with authentic cultural encounters and pure adrenaline, Tamor rafting is the perfect expedition.
